Surfers Paradise Cinema 3046 Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise, QLD
Located in the popular beach resort of Surfers Paradise on Surfers Paradise Boulevard. The 4-screen Hoyts Cinema Centre was opened on 20th November 1985. Seating was provided for 270-seats in screen 1 & 2 and 440-seats in screens 3 & 4. It was later renamed Surfers Paradise Cinema.
It was closed on 30th April 2000. In 2004, it was in use as an exhibition & conference centre. By 2009, it was the SurfCity Church. Notes by by Ken Roe
