Still looking for photos of the Lyric’s Twin Sister, the Star (1909-1916).

In the meantime in the top photo, you’ll see the Lyric Theatre (421 Walnut) at right and Mendelbaum’s a bit further up (503-505 Walnut) with the Star a bit further down on the opposite side (518).

In the middle shot, the very first visible sign at the right is the Lyric. The Star is just past the tall red building not far past Nicole, the Tailor sign.

In the bottom shot, the streetcar has just past the Star Theatre at left.

Yep, pretty unfulfilling!
