Metropolitan Theatre 614 Sydney Road, Melbourne, VIC - Previously known as Hoyts Padua Theatre Brunswick. An excellent view of the ceiling design & lighting.

Fact: To Quote from Laurie Cunningham’s book “Frame by Frame” - A History of Brunswick’s Picture Theatre’s - The Padua lay idle for two years after the Italian language film screenings ceased. A large crack developed on the northern wall and the building was deemed to be unsafe. A demolition permit was granted in Jan 1982, and soon after the Padua was razed to the ground -
