Spoiler alert: Stadleman would be hired away by Allan Lockhead in 1918 to further its Model F-1 flying boat and be on the team that created the S-1 Sport Biplane for Loughead Aircraft Manufacturing Company in Santa Barbara, California. That left the Furniture City without the Michigan Aircraft Company. So its place was taken by a new Overland Automobile dealership in 1918.
