The 1982 Muscatine High School yearbook, the Auroran, devoted an entire page to the passing of the Hilltop. The caption to this photo: Collapsed on the ground, the fallen Drive-In sign signals the end of an era. The theater had been a popular nightspot for more than thirty years.
