The above photograph was taken during the sell out performances of the Ivor Novello musical “Perchance to Dream”. Also shown is the small Royal circle which held 200 seats (mezzanine) with winged chevrons along the front face of the circle. At the rear can be seen horizontal decoration of the projection box which was housed here rather than the circle above where the throw would have been a problem being further from the screen, when films were shown.
