Photograph taken prior to opening showing the new entrance created by Mollo & Egan’s bright and spacious foyer, immeasurably improves on that of the former Palace cinema, the old fashioned balustrade replaced by a continuous chrome handrail, giving an unbroken line from top to bottom, this with the inclusion of a modern paybox, coloured designed rubberoid floor and ceiling trough illumination produced a feeling of light and spaciousness for patrons upon entering the new Regal.
