Downtown Burleson has many of its old-time buildings still in place. But don’t look for this - the Dixie Theatre. Mr. and Mrs. J. Clarence Brown had the theatre picked up, put on a truck and moved 14 miles to Forest Hill where it then became the Forest Theatre. Burleson’s first theatre was history.
