The independent regional movie-theatre chain, Franklin & Herschorn, owned & operated not just the Mayfair Theatre, but also its sister theatre, The Vogue, on Gottingen St. in Halifax, as well as the Bay Road and Sackville Drive-In theatres.
These theatres often ran (and advertised) titles simultaneously, but more often ran separate double features, combining a second-run ‘A’ picture with a little-known ‘B’ movie.
