A very sad day for every monsterkid and frontrow kid in Evansville. There was weeping in the streets. A beautifully maintained art-deco-ish place, fronted with black industrial glass, brushed aluminum marquee and red neon upright, it had push-back seats, a tiny lobby, great balcony, plenty of posters, 10-cent popcorn and and bargain matinees: only 25 cents for two first-run movies.
