This is incorrect! Royal Drive In is on I20. Royal Land, an Amusement Park (1968-1969) is next to it, it had no connection other than ownership. Meridian Drive In was on SR 19 N, the tower was located about where the “back road” into Wal Mart is now. The Village Kitchen (closed in 2012) is now! My Dad, A.L. Royal Sr built all. Anyone with questions, post and I will answer if I can!
I own this property. Steel tower is standing, wood face is half gone. Dates above are correct. The Grand Ave address is correct for the office, but the building is gone.
