I agree Duper!!! Every time someone like Dude or yourself makes a point or exposes some bit of truth, they attack y'all personally. Really make me sick if you ask me…
I for one, highly doubt it!!! I believe, Sebby’s bad temper and arrogance just got the best of him, as it has in the past. Now he’s trying to cover it up, but a wise person can see through his games…
Wow, what a revelation!!! The Trustee that is dead-set against the theatre project on here using an alias!! That would explain his having inside information from the beginning, as well as his hatred for the Friends and certain members. That is really, really pathetic! I hope the people who voted for him are proud of their Trustee!!!
I get the feeling that “True Class” isn’t telling the truth here, folks. Every other claim they have made has been disputed, so why should we believe this one? They talk about a ‘disgusting’ e-mail, but won’t put it on here for all to see and decide. They post all of the other disputed e-mails, but not this one? I really don’t think there’s any validity here…
I for 1 agree with some of what the dude says people…Why did he put that guy on his Board? why didn’t we see anything in the local papers from those folks until this Sebby guy got them involved? We live by a place we were told years ago would be gone, and it is still there!
Concerned Taxpayer is lying through his teeth!! He was NEVER in favor of the restoration, in fact., the anti-theatre website he speaks of bought its domain name BEFORE the Theatre obtained theirs, and from the very beginning talked about a “bulldozer parade”. That DOES NOT sound like support to me! He also illegally used pictures of the Theatre, as well as posting a private e-mail to him in order to try to sway support.
Life’s too short, THERE IS A PLAN for the project, and it is a good one and is available to be looked at. In fact, they polled other local theatres and will charge rent substantially less in order to make it economically feasible to book more nights. The theatre group will not put on events, but merely rent the facility out, placing ALL risk on the renter.
