Tickets should be on sale by this Friday, Jan. 29th.
Just wanted to let everyone know that the print of PLANET OF THE APES is brand new! We will be the very first theatre to run it! So, it will look and sound amazing!
It’s been a while since I have posted on Cinema Treasures, but rest assured that I always take the time to read the comments posted here.
Clearview may host another Classic Series in the Fall for several weeks. We do not know the dates yet, but as soon as I know, you will be the first to hear about it!
We are very happy to be hosting 20th Anniversary of DIRTY DANCING and will actually have some of the stars there on opening night for a Q & A session. Kelly Bishop is already confirmed.
Once again, we truly appreciate the comments and suggestions that are posted here, so keep them coming. If you have any film suggestions for the classics, also post them here and we will see if we can book them.

Just a few things to note:
Clearview did send out a Press Release to all the NY Metro newspapers and magazines. Hopefully, they will pick up on the series. We also have ads in Time Out NY and AM NY Newspaper.
Also, we are going to ad a Bonus 6th Week to the series. We are working on some nice titles for that last week. As soon as they are confirmed, I will let you know.
Also, it should be noted that all of the films that have been selected for Hollywood Classics were from the suggestion cards that were distributed at The Ziegfeld during Feb / March.

Yes, we are reading your comments and they are invaluable to us. We will again communicate with our partners in distribution so that they assure us that the prints are in decent condition. However, with these older titles, sometimes there are a few bad apples out there, but we will do our best to provide a good presentation…
Since this is a new program, there will be some “bumps” along the way, but we are VERY happy to see that this program is being embraced by loyal cinema lovers in and around NYC.

One title I can confirm at this time is “Lawrence of Arabia” presented in 70 mm beginning on March 24th.
