A big thanks to the Orinda Theatre team and Derek Zemrak for the nice job they have done the last year while this classic deco cinema has been closed. Also to MR NEON Greg King for the restoration of the 1941 neon. As I have black lights and neon in my home cinema we were blown away this past Saturday May 1 2021 with what they have done with the lighting inside this large classic cinema. Try to see a movie soon and tell your out of town friends to visit this movie theatre from the past! Just take the Bart train to almost the front door. Check out things you won’t see in your local movie plex.

Time for the city of Orinda CA to do a tree trim around the Orinda Theatre. Soon you won’t be able to see the marquee!
The new property management group that just signed on 6/24 will take care of the tree marquee trimming soon. It is out for bid. You will be able to read what is playing inside.
