Great Photo!!!!
My 2600 photo on CT
There was a LOEWS between the Tennessee and Paramount but you cannot see the marquee in this photo and they did not have a vertical sign in burned down in 1967.
Loews State in the background
I thought everybodys life mattered
Very nice marquee
Nice marquee
Looks like Loews owned the whole building at one time by the sign by the theatre entrance.
Thats a good one ten years before I was born I also worked for Loews almost ten years .
WE switched over to running 3 reels at a time about this time less changeovers.
I was working there then.Good times.
Cool photo Mike.Wish I had photos from those days.
My grandmother attended to show that night.
THE NEW MARQUEE LOOKS LIKE THE MARQUEE SHOT FROM THE 1930s
Too bad Max Loew could not live to see these wonder theatres.
Wow 50 years ago where did the time go.
Last movie to ever play there.
Elvis and I both worked for Loews in Tennessee.LOL.
Peter Brown on the right side of photo.
Thanks Mike.
Wow almost 100 years ago.
Great photo I went there a few time back in the 60,s when I would take the train from Nashville to visit some of my folks down there.
The year I was born also the Loews and Joy theatres in the photo.
