It has two websites because the owner (Troy Hall) sold the theater to a church a couple of years ago. His site was winktheatre.com, which he left up and stagnant. The church created winktheatre.org, and now it looks kind of stagnant as well.
I managed the Wink for a short while in the late 70s for Multivision Northwest, the company that owned the cable company and WTTI radio at that time. It has a fascinating interior, backstage and “catacombs” in the basement that made me think of Phantom of the Opera back then.
Troy Hall should get a lot of credit for salvaging the Wink. It had fallen into ruin and he lost his shirt trying to fix it up and keep it going.
