The Tivoli is such a wonderful theater, we’ll drive the hour it takes to get there; always clean, always friendly, still feels like a small town old time theater…love going there!
I remember seeing Mary Poppins there and then going next door to the Toy/Hobby Shop and wanting a Mary Poppins umbrella, I didn’t get it…but, I did get one several years ago when I saw it on stage at the Oriental. Childhood dreams can come true!
Does anyone remember a theater that was across from a park in the mid-60’s; south side somewhere, could have been the Hamilton or the Jeffrey. Remember seeing Sound of Music there several times.
