I saw many movies there in the 70s and 80s. And if you were going North on route 8,you could see the screen. I heard they played adult movies there too,but I was little so never checked it out.lol
When it was the Country Cinema, I saw E.T.the extra-terrestrial in 82 and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 84. We sat in the balcony for E.T. Great memories.
When I was a kid in 84 or 85,my uncle had a cleaning business on Industry Lane. I remember thinking that it was cool that it was so close to the drive in,but then I found out it was torn or going to be torn down for condos. I was upset. I saw Star Wars for the first time there.
