It was a drive-in theater. I used to work at the Hayward Motor Movie. They had a service for the customers that when you drove in we washed your windshield. I was one of those people. Then when most everyone was there, we worked in the snack bar. I was still in high school at that time. What great era!! It was sad to see it go.
