Photograph taken some weeks after the official opening showing auditorium illuminated using coved or concealed lighting throughout. Interestingly the Wurlitzer organ console has been removed to the central position of the stage from its original installation on the extreme right, as seen raised in front of screen curtains, the organ had three separate chambers housed above the proscenium behind two bands of horizontal grilles, a special chamber being provided for the Piano and Xylophone. This new central position of the organ was caused by a time delay by being too far to one side for the organist. It must be remembered the stage opening was 50 feet wide by 49 feet high and 24 feet deep.
