Proprietor Lou Morris also engaged Eugene Mollo of Mollo & Egan to design the whole interior of the Carlton. The Carlton was to be the first of three cinema interiors Mollo completed with Architect John Owen Bond opening on Monday 17th December 1934. Followed later with the Majestic cinema Bridgnorth 22nd November 1937 and the Odeon North Watford five days later 27th November 1937.
