The above photograph was taken pre-opening of the Odeon, note the in house ‘Fan’ carpet which was fitted throughout the cinema. Being a section of the circle foyer which has been equipped as a café - lounge, illustrating a purposeful use of which part of a cinema could be put. Situated over the entrance foyer, it takes full advantage of the massive windows that the main elevation was relieved. Here the Odeon circuit found a fully equipped restaurant was not justified, however, if suitable room is available why not use it.
