Photograph of the Compton organ. This multi illuminated surround was called ‘Rainbow’ Head Designer Charles Theobalds of F.H. Prides Ltd Clapham designed this popular style and many others, which Prides also manufactured and fitted to various consoles. In the above picture can be seen a matching seat also supplied by Prides. The raised Compton is photographed in front of the brilliant satin designed closed house curtains, a small section of which can be viewed either side of the console.
