On Monday 3rd July 1950 the film presentation was “Annie Get Your Gun” with stage show “Jewel Box Revue” (not Sundays) and as the queues prove both very popular and ran for eight weeks. The scaffolding erected on the front was for the works in progress for the new display alterations that took 14 weeks to complete.
