1936 Drawing of the Ritz cinema by a draftsman from the Robert Cromie office. Built on an island site occupying over an acre of ground space. The glass faced corner tower dominates the external view of the Ritz and at night the whole of the interior of the tower was illuminated, the exterior neon top gave the effect of a cascading fountain, the whole installed by Doodson & Bain of Manchester.
