John Siegel and Robert Siegel own/owned many such theaters all over California, I am not sure if John is still living or not, but, Robert was thinking of selling in 2005, I am not sure what happened. I am sure the property will sell in the not too distant future, these 2 brothers would have to be very elderly currently if still living and once they both pass I am sure family members will sell off some of their holdings, however, I would never want the city to seize anything, they should never have such power, next they would seize houses on 1st street for hotels, etc., it would be ridiculous.
