We have 2, that’s right 2 movie theaters in the whole Bronx, the Whitestone is now a lot for the city to auction off cars. They were using it to park the school buses but I don’t think they are doing that anymore. It’s a shame the people of the Bronx have to go to CO-OP City or 161st St by the Court House and pay an arm and a leg to see a movie, the kids have nothing to do but go to a mall to see a movie or wait til it comes out on-demand.

I went to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show there midnight showing on Friday and Saturday nights many times.
I remember taking my younger brother there in the 70s to see the Disney movies all summer long. They had two different Disney movies there each week.
