would anyone happen to have photos of this theater? now that the galleria mall is due to be demolished it would be nice to have a photo from the early days of this mall.
this theater has gone downhill since they changed the seats. Almost all auditoriums have some of the worst sound I have ever heard, No bass and very low volume. One auditorium in particular has no sound coming from the left speakers and another has all sound coming from the surround speakers instead of the front. I remember how great this place was when it first opened.
Such a shame. this IMAX screen was fantastic. I remember seeing The Hobbit 48ps and Interstellar 15/70mm here. the screen was huge but the seats were arranged in a way that you never felt like you were too close, a true Original IMAX theater. This space is now a 5 wits interactive escape room.
I would love to see photos of the inside and the auditoriums, It’s a shame for a theater that closed as recently as 2013 there are no photos online. I believe I saw Attack of the clones here but barely remember the layout other than there was a second floor. wonder if anything is left of the upstairs, party city didn’t seem to affect the other floor.
