check out the video. let me know what you think. we geared the edit towards our fan base so a lot of the fun cult films were left on the cutting room floor for the episode
Outside the main attraction of the trailers. we will have the NJ GHOSTBUSTERS charity group, members of the 501'st legion (storm trooper group) NJ ren fair members, and comic book legend Neil Vokes all on hand doing what they do best.
Im trying to create a weird and fun night for cult film lovers
also on hand will be the cast of the new thriller THE PENDANT a film set in and around south jersey (which i just so happen to be in and came on as a producer)
i agree with all of ur critiques. truth is the web sight wanted to boast avatar (this episode aired the week it hit dvd) and i wanted to end it with some not so subtle satire about the movie going public. how they are willing to pay more money to get raped by studios and cinema chains.
it was done for comedy sake. i have made other films in the past that celebrate my love for classic theaters and film history. but i hope you guys get this was tongue in cheek….hell i gave uwe boll an oscar
a friend of mine has been a projectionist for 43 years and he gave me a list of studio films released at that time in 3D. and those glasses came with the friday the 13th dvd and what i had at my disposal at that time.
same with the levoy and the broadway pitman, everyone ditches movies to do plays. everyone is already so close toghter add to that the ritz and i know there is another not far that also just does stage shows….psssh good luck
issue is, companies are spending so much to update to digital cinema the studios have to put out more 3D to justify said updates so we get more crap….i refuse to pay 17 buts to have tyler perry in my face, sorry
i wrote an entire episode based on this very idea for the web series underbelly for the popular video game sight screwattack.com
