I grew up in Pennsauken(penngarden apts,46th& high st). My mom worked for Mrs. Kravits who owend “THE WALT” & I belive 12 other theatres. I used to get up at 6am every day & help the janitor to sweep the theatre before school. As well as my wages Sam the manager would let me in for free. I remember playing on the exit ramps in the car parks on 46th & 47th st. after the saturday matenee. I’m sad the “WALT” is gone,great memories! I have satalite pictures of Westfield ave. & it looks lioke the shops are all gone? I rember Jerry’s barber shop , Vince’s Market, & a hardware shop.
