The Page Manor Cinema has a new owner apparently called “Dollar Cinemas”. The Page Manor Twin Cinemas are now known as Page Manor Dollar Cinemas, with admission at just $1.00 at all times making it the cheapest movie house in the Dayton Metro Area. The cinemas sadly run with only a handful of customers and only a few dozen on the weekends. This is sad because this would be a great place if the right company could only operate it. I am not sure when the Dollar Cinemas took over operations but it appears to be the same employees working their which it the first bad sign. I saw Troy a few weeks ago at 7:00 and the place was a ghost town, I looked into the other cinema and it had less than 20 customers, I don’t know how they can afford to rent the movies, let alone the rent of the building and employees. The Page Manor Cinema have been open for about 7 months now and I look for the closing to be soon, they dropped prices by almost 75% to a $1.00 and still can not get anyone to come, they already have a new owner plus have changed their name, when what few people that go to the cinemas might say visit Page Manor Twin Cinemas they won’t find it. This just makes things more confusing, what if they are still open in six months, are they going to change its name again. Doubtful, in six months or less we the people of Riverside will have to travel to Huber Heights or Beavercreek for a movie because this cinema no matter what it is called can not survive the way it is operated.
To the owners have you ever heard of adverting?
