I worked at River City Cinemas for a short time in the 1970’s. It was an excellent theater and it did a lot of business. I was hired by Dwade Cole (if I remember correctly). He was a great guy. I was sad to see this theater close. It was the nicest one in Monroe.
I saw “Bye Bye Birdie” at this theater years ago.

It operated under the name Guild Theater before closing.
