  • <p>If I’m not mistaken, this is the original entrance road, which  comes out on the east end of the field.  I’m guessing they eventually combined the box office ot the back side of the snack bar for better security.</p>
  • <p>Boulevard Drive-In ad from the June 27,1950 Kansas City Star newspaper. The address is different, but Southwest Blvd and Merriam Lane merge just a short distance from where the theater is located, the address must have changed, even though the theater is in the same place. I recently found a stack of old 1943 to 1950 newspapers at an estate sale.</p>
