F.Y.I., that mile-long concrete monstrosity (otherwise known as Church Park) was originally planned to be one continuous block from Westland all the way to Boylston with a tower at the corner of Boylston and Mass Ave… I honestly don’t know what they were thinking when they built that thing
I lived for two years on Edgerly Road near it’s intersection with Norway and never knew there was once a theatre there. Is where the Morville House is today where it once was?
I used to work in Dedham and prefered this theatre to the Showcase Cinema down the highway. If you ever find yourself in Dedham, check out the MOBA gallery. I don’t know if it was intentional or not but placing the gallery in the restroom lobby adds to the humour of the ‘art’
