Renovated in 2018 to feature a completely new lobby, and seating. It is now simply called the “Santikos Northwest” and only features 10 screens. The cover photo is also incorrect, that is the Embassy, not the Northwest.
Renovated in 2019 to feature new recliners. Along with that, this theatre now shows first run movies, with second run theatres becoming extinct in the San Antonio area after the Regal Fiesta closed. The demolition recently finished on December 28th 2022. Auditoriums 1-9 were renovated in 2022. This theatre will eventually be downsized to 9 screens, and auditoriums 10-16 will be torn down and converted into an entertainment center featuring a bowling alley, a new arcade and various other upgrades. This is now the Santikos Westlakes. Opened on March 31st, 2022 and was renovated top to bottom.
8 screens and 986 seats as of 2023.
