I was in the theater that day before it cleared out. The fire alarm went off and the movie screens went blank and a voice came over the loud speaker instructing everyone to leave. I didn’t see any fire, and I’m still not sure what set it off, but heading out of the theater I noticed that the sprinkler system was going off in the box office and flooding it with water. They weren’t issuing free passes to the patrons outside, they were letting everyone whose film had been interrupted know that if they brought their stubs back anytime within the next three months that they could see a film for free.
Does anyone know if the theater has opened back up? I’ve been checking movie times online for AMC Columbia 14 and there’s none listed anywhere, leading me to think it’s still closed for some reason.
