thanks andyt
i only speak the truth about this theatre.
i believe the more people know about something nice they may actually try it out and like it.
If people know nothing about nice places they simply don’t go.
As far as enthusiasm one boss told me once i had a little too much enthusiasm. I did not agree with them but i shut up.
But there have been times i have gone overboard. I get a little loud sometimes. As far as next summer i have no clue dude but i hope to be back.
It is just great to know that there are sites like this that exist to let the people know about theatres both then and now.
A friend of mine rode by the Somers point theatre the other day and they said the theatre in that city was gone.
Another reason that this website is great.
I never went there but i heard nice stuff about it.
Oh get this i heard the moorlyn had a promotion
last weekend.
O.C.H.S. WEEKEND
They were giving away popcorn to students from that school who showed their ID.
Man i hope they keep that s—– up. Stuff like that bring kids out.
But then again did u see the list of movies they have?/had?!!!?….
later

THey also might be called the Towne Stadium Megaplex.
Oh and I hear the Morlyn gives the birthday kids there name in the Marque for free.
Wow what a birthday gift that is.
They can tell everyone they were the star at the theatre that day.

yes they do birthday parties
but you have to go and/or call the corporate office
in eht/pleastantville
if you go into the theatre the management at the moorlyn
should have the numbers and the names of the people you need to make arangements with.
Some parties can be made before the theatre opens.
A real private movie party.
the “mother” theatre for the Frank Theatres i beleive
is at and near the shore mall.
Known as the Towne 16 theatre or Towne Stadium 16.
The corporate office is out there.
They also have Group discount tickets.

lenny0525 commented about Do Movie Ratings Work? on Jan 13, 2005 at 9:30 pm

one theatre i knew of told there employees not ask for id.
in fact it was encouraged that anyone can see any movie they want.
As long as thay can reach the counter and put the money out there we are to sell to everyone any movie they want including r rated movies.

ok here is a question
when you say independent theatre what do you mean?
What kind of movies would you show?
How much would it cost open say for 12 hours a day.
What would be the cost of admission?

hi there wanted to give you the real scoop on the Moorlyn 4.
i work there and thought you would like to know.
some of the nice things about the theatre.
I do this as an anomys employee.
I also look at this as a customer
NOt have I sold the tickets but have bought my share of them too.
So
Yes the Moorlyn 4 is now open.
Year round depening on the amount of people we get.
MEANING THEmore people we get the more we will be open.
less people less open
no people no open
ok
2
cocession sales help
if just by a ticket alone
that is good but not enough if you buy one item at 3 bucks or less you are helping to keep the place open.
tht is all i can say on that.
here are the things i like right now about the moorlyn 4

box office is now inside for the winter
you no longer have to around and back it is all inside.

free parking not the lot right behind the theatre that is from what i hear is private parking and with out a permit you can be towed by the city at your expense plus the fine for parking ilegally.
the city itself has municipal lots that they charge during the summer but during the winter it is free.
many meters have had the change machine taken away. so those spots are free too.

stadium seating
get the perfect view of your movie the first time and every time.

dts sound – the state of the art sound system
not only can you see a movie but you can feel it too.

love seats – great for couples
Just like a couch that two people can sit together on.

arcade a must see

booster seats – great for the kids that can’t see so great and it is all free

handicaped acessable – bring your wheel chair, lark chairs, scooters right into the theatre. You no longer have to “park it” again.

hearing impared device -
a free device to those that want that extra boost in hearing the movie.

free refills ask cocession

24 hour movie hotline
(609)399-0006

complementary gifts* – Always free just for stopping in.
based on availability

most of what use to be the building before is gone
but some remaind and from that point it was rebuilt with all new construction.
