  • <p>Grand entrance foyer to stalls and circle rotundas. This impressive area was 52ft in length. Main balustrades and hand railings were made of aluminium with silver anodic finish. Manufactured by Garton & Thorne Ltd. Undoubtedly
              the most eye catching was the huge central light fitting,
              which had a special electrical winch for lowering and
              maintenance. This was supplied by F H Pride Ltd., as was all the lighting fitments within the Havana cinema.

Concealed lighting from above and surrounding the proscenium, four grilles were set either side within the splay walls, two pairs either side were for the two organ chambers and the remaining were for heating and ventilation ducts. The raised illuminated Compton organ occupied the central position of the orchestra pit.
