Wow that’s a great photo.So I guess the theater was on Beaver ave.That’s amazing,the office I work in is on the same block.It’s safe to say the theater has been long demolished.
This theater only has 5 screens not 6,at one time it was 1 screen.I remember in the 1980’s it had 3 screens,one notoriously under a bowling alley.I just saw “Borat' there and you can here the bowling balls klunking on the ceiling.In my opinion this theater also has one of the strangest layouts.
The Bank Cinema was on the second level of what was a converted bank.The building was quite large,it also housed some shops and restaurants.I remember seeing Star Wars there
I just learned that this was later called the guild theater which is already listed.

This theater is actually within the city limits of Pittsburgh.not Blawnox.
