The color pic looking west shows the Smith Clinic (Nyquist Loans) on the right corner… the white fronted building 2 doors west was where the Roxy stood. Look farther west until you see the motorcycle… above it and to the right, that yellow “corncob” is The Survant’s markee as well. I think the slotted pattern on the markee was supposed to represent strips of movie film (?) Simple design, probably cheap to construct but very distinctive for its time and place…
