After being posted here and there in Germany, for six years with the AKC.
I took over the Odeon Farnham as Chief in March 1965, on my return to the UK.
It was rather run down, but I had a staff of three in the projection box. In September 1968 I resigned, as the good old days of the cinema was long over. After 12 years in the cinema business, I found employment with the GPO, then moving to NZ in 1974 to work for the NZPO.
