I recently wrote a blog on a few of my local theatres of the past, and included a couple of framed photographs from inside the former Waverley Theatre building, showing what the internal decorative framework originally looked like. I also found quite a few articles on the opening of another old theatre in the area, the New Malvern, which was demolished in 1987. It doesn’t seem to be mentioned on this site, but perhaps someone might like to add it in.
