Although a Grade II listed building I was astonished to realise that Poundland had taken the place of the once glorious Playhouse Cinema. The façade is retained and modified whilst everything else beyond the façade is a new build retail space, currently the well known UK discount store. I took this photo on my camera. Its all that remains of the cinema.
