Brooklyn Avenue is now Cesar Chavez Avenue, located primarily in the Boyle Heights section of the city.
The Los Angeles Public Library photo database lists the Brentwood’s location at:
11611 Wilshire Blvd.
That puts it where the World Savings Bank building is now, on the northwest corner of Wilshire and Veteran.
