The three-hour epic featuring Annette Kellerman screened at the St George’s Theatre in Yarraville. Though publicity stills and documents like this one have survived, the film is now considered lost.

The ad lists Kellerman’s physical measurements, comparing them with (what must be the estimated measurements) of Cleopatra and Venus. Kellerman was lauded as ‘the perfectly formed woman’ in 1912 and this label followed her for the rest of her life - Contributed by Greg Lynch -

 •
In June 1959 this film quietly opened at the Apollo, having been dumped by the distributor. The idiotic re-titling of “Friends for Life” (Amici per la pelle) did nothing to help this wonderful film, despite a glowing New York Times review. The film was directed by Franco Rossi and released in Italy in 1955.
