On May 23, 2013 I attended the last 35mm film shown here, appropriately “The Last Picture Show”. It was a good print, decently projected. After this, the 35mm projector and platters would be removed and DCP digital projection installed, but the cinema would last only about five more years, until 2018.

The Cable Car would close on May 28, 2018 with the film “RBG” on DCP.
