It consisted of “A Day in the Country” by Jean Renoir, “Jofroi” by Marcel Pagnol, and “The Miracle” by Roberto Rossellini. “The Miracle” became banned and in a case that went to the Supreme Court, the theatre and distributor won, with a ruling asserting that film is a form of free speech.
