I have been following Carolina Cotton. (October 20, 1925 – June 10, 1997) was an American singer and actress known as the “Yodeling Blonde Bombshell”, the “Girl of the Golden West”, and the “Queen of the Range.” Her real name was Helen Hagstrom. Later on she got it legally changed to Carolina Cotton. Her daughter has been posting pictures of her on the FB Carolina Cotton. She posted a picture of her and other C&W stars at the opening of the Compton Drive-In theatre, Compton, CA. It opened on Jan 6, 1950. Great pictures, but unfortunately not the drive-in itself but a few in the concession stand.
