Iselin Theater temporary name change
The Iselin Theater had a rough time of survival in its early years, going dark for some of the depression. For a while it was run by downtown merchants who became tired of the empty building. in 1937 the name was changed to the Embassy Theater hoping to bring it better luck. It closed again shortly after, and went back to the original name.
