Our family lived in Waco from Fall, 1951 to Fall, 1954. My brother and I used to go to the Saturday afternoon matinees at the 25th St.
I remember seeing “Hondo” and “Charge at Feather River” in 3-D there.
I also saw my first CinemaScope film at the 25th St.—“River of No Return”. Other films I remember seeing there from 1951-1954 were: “Arrowhead”, “Duel in the Sun” (re-release), “Abbott & Costello Go to Mars” (single feature), “The Caddy”, “My Paul Gus”, “Shane”, “Take the High Ground”, “Pony Express”, Walt Disney’s “The Living Desert”, “The Vanishing Prairie”, “Rob Roy” and “Peter Pan”, “Hell and High Water” and “Dangerous When Wet”.
